"Hi there!
We are Anastasia and Maria Komarova, two artists lucky enough to call Lednice our home.
Our art is really just a big love letter to South Moravia, especially the stunning, UNESCO-listed Lednice-Valtice area.
We recently co-illustrated and co-written the first Czech publication about famous botanical artists "The Bauer Brothers: The Story of Three Boys from Valtice". Working on it felt like stepping into a historical mirror! Like the famous Bauer brothers back in the 18th century, we created botanical illustrations right here in the exact same region. It made the whole project feel so personal, and we are absolutely thrilled that so many of you are loving our art and the book!
